Is SH Forum running slow???
For the past few days, every page takes a loooong time to load - even my personal pages (messages, etc.)
Often it takes so long, I lose patience and click STOP, then go back a page and retry, then it loads at regular speed.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Are you using Clear (formerly Clearwire)?
They have been dicking around with their infrastructure and software lately. Lots of traffic in chat forums about this; mostly angry customers. Calls to Clear helpline (in India) gets you profuse apologies but no remedies.

Not using Clear... unless Verizon FIOS has subcontracted out that part of their division for wireless use.
