What other hobbies do you have besides riding hawk?

Me too. I have a Glock 9, Ruger 22, Ruger lcp, and quite a few long guns. The lcp is an awesome carry gun. I'd love to try the new single stack Glock 9 though.
Since posting my reply, I have jumped into a few other hobbies. Lately I've been adding to my collection of knives. Benchmade mini-griptilian and Kershaw leek in the last few weeks. Chainsaws is another big one. I recently got my first pro-built saw. Sent one I had to a very reputable builder, he turned it into an absolute screamer. I heat w/ firewood so it's fun to have the right toy for the job.

Funny story, after 7 years of having the qualifications to get my LTC and moving around a lot, I finally took the class again 7-8 months ago and applied. It took almost 3 months to get my license printed and in my hands and at that point my money was completely tied up in my current build so I havent had the extra cash to go purchase my first firearm.. I do have an eye on a few and once this bike is ready to ride and my wallet has a chance to recuperate I will be making a purchase

Apart from the obvious I love surfing.
I had my first go on a fibreglass surfboard on the 26/12/69.
A long time ago but I just can't stop.
I ride what are called Malibu boards and have competed at national level.
Currently there are 14 surfboards in my Cave and I try and surf as much as possible.
Bikes are my other obsession and come to the fore when there is no surf.
Sorry about the pic quality, this photo was taken at a big competition a few years back.
I have given up competing as I believe that surfing is for enjoyment and well being, not trying to beat your friends to win a couple of lousy trophies.

my carry choice would be the glock, just because I know I could find a pre-ban high cap. mag for it...
and kenmoore I would love to see pics of your collection, as a former skateboarder/snowboarder I'v always wanted to surf but time and money has restricted me(mostly time)...

Hey wolverine, how do you like those rugers? Ive been eying the 9e due to its price tag, supposedly its supposed to be a lc9 without some of the fancy machining on the slide, only comes with 1 mag and no case for like $100 cheaper... I think I can get it for $375+ tax I just want to hear from someone thats owns or has shot that model/generation gun

I held the LC9 for a while in the shop I bought the LCP. Didn't tickle my fancy, like say the SR22. Which, as soon as I held it I knew I had to have one. The 9 was just too big for pocket or IWB carry for me. The LCP is a gem to carry, light and very compact. Doesn't hinder or constantly let you know it's there. As far as comfort shooting, I'm sure 9 would win there.
The SR22 was bought as a method to teach my kids gun safety and shooting. And it's a very fun plinker! We love it.

Not mine, haven't had the nerve to drop the dough on my own plane yet haha. I was a flight instructor at Western Michigan University, we flew Cirrus SR20's. However, I have flown numerous types of planes. I was looking into a career as a pilot, but I am finishing my degree at Western in Aviation Management and Operations.

Ahhhh, Jeep ****! LOL! Good to see you're doing it yourself. No fab work here, but I did do all the work myself. Regeared both axles before swapping to a Rubi Dana44 rear. Went with an Ected electric locker front, and put a SYE in, along with a host of other mods. Love the billys too.
Lets talk about the stroker kit. If ya had it to do all over again, would you? Or would you consider V-8 or diesel? How much gain did it produce? Also, did you keep the stock cam? I had the typical cracked manifold so an Edelbrock header went in, already had a K&N kit, a Banks cat-back is back there and a week or so ago, I punched out the cat. We really felt the gains with the header and the exhaust, but when the cat disappeared, she really woke up.
We happen to live about 1.5 hours from a jem of an offroad park, Rausch Creek. We wheel there often.

That's how they are sold....Clear valve covers would have been sweet, but they aren't readily available for the 4.0's, plus more money than I want to spend haha
