Well, It has begun.
Last night one of our cars was gone through, in our driveway. Wife forgot to lock the car... and it got ransacked. They only got a cheap set of tv/dvd players.. man, I'm glad they didnt get into my truck. I got alot of tools, a couple Gs in stereo equip, and documents for work, ... Man! come to think of it.. Glad they didnt use her garage door openner.. Bike had the keys in it, RIGHT by the door! ... Crap, this means when I pull the boat out this spring I'm gonna have to load and unload it everyday... cause it sits outside, except during winter.
Talked to the Police and they tell me there were a few other calls (so far this morning) in our area.
I figure it's either Economy driven, or just a couple kids.
Anyhow, Lock your **** up at night. This is your wake up call.

Sorry to hear you got hit. It's happening more and more in Charlotte. Lock up your stuff. Even if you keep it in your house or garage, make it harder for them to get it out.

That happened to us a few months after moving in to the house in Huntersville...18 cars hit on 2 streets...all unlocked...we caught them, they used my wife's CC at a gas station trying to buy/steal cigs..caught them on camera...kid working there sees the vid and goes, hey, I know that guy, he goes to high school with me...LOL..Morons...
We recovered half of the value of the wifes Coach purse they stole...didn't take anything else..
