Very cool, now who wants to try it on a VTR?

that is pretty cool. im not sure it was worth the minimal gains from a performance standpoint but its creative as hell.

Maybe it's just me but it seems like a waste to use a cylinder as a compressor when you could have both on line makin 200 hp!

Good luck in trying to get 200hp out of a 1 litre two-valve air-cooled Duc engine! You can't even get that out of a full-race RC51 (or 999R,....)

Mic
Yep I know that the old school 2 valve air cooled motor isnt ideal but according to the article the guy can put up to 40 bar in the system. So that should put him close.....

whats wrong with the other guys? don't they see if its lighter and no more complicated on a VTR it would be at least equal with have the cams and regular valves. the 10 sec boost is gravy. the supermono had a 4-valve head & made 61 HP (buy one now http://thekneeslider.com/archives/20...mono-for-sale/), so the VTR could make 100 with the blower for less effort . my kind of twin.

I love the fact that the VTR is supercharged and turbo charged but I dont think I want my legs near that drive belt or the exhaust pipe. Road rash without the road!
