this afternoon i brought my snow blower into the shop for a tune up. then it snowed a bit here tonight. thankfully it melted as soon as it hit the ground.

I can't believe it's that time of year already. I think it was Monday morning...I woke up to see about a half an inch on the ground. It was mostly gone by the end of the day.

we're starting to see highs in the low 50's here, not bad to go out for a ride in the late morning or afternoon, but usually to cold early in the morning for commuting on the bike.

They are forecasting up to 6 inches of heavy wet snow in the southern counties of NY near PA - a mix or mostly rain for the Buffalo area and in the 30s - not fun at all

Ayep. It's been snowing in Westchester County NY all day. Was in Mount Vernon and now Yorktown Hts. Slush on my front porch. I was hoping to ride on Sunday. Maybe i'll just change the oil.

We get it good sometimes... usually they get more the southern areas where the ski resorts are but the airport area where I am can get dumped on pretty good like the nearly 7 feet over a few days a couple years back... We average around 100 inches a year which is less than nearby Rochester or Syracuse.

Forecast is back in the 60s again as the week progresses though so I should get some more miles in. We don't get hurricanes or any of those other damaging storms so the snow isn't all that bad - at least my house will still be here after a snowstorm.

moncton vs. buffalo:
precip: moncton gets more.
temps: baffalo is warmer.
buffalo 2, moncton 0.
