It's soooooo hot here that the brick on my house is still radiating heat about 4 foot away from the house at midnight!

 

You walk by the brick and start swetting!

 

I'm not sure what kind of venting system my roof has, i will have to look when i get home.

 

Since i cant ride at the moment, maybe i can get Nuhawk to hookup one of these so i can tag along!

News just reported that New Braunfels, TX. has had 71 days above 100*f this summer!

 

 

A customer of mine who has been in Ireland for the last three years was shocked when I told him Central and South Texas was turning into a desert. The pastures in Hayes county are eaten down to the roots and lots of farmers and cities are running out of water as their wells go dry.

There was a report on Fox News over a month ago that put the financial tab at $3.6 billion in lost revenues since this started in mid '07.

 

I must admit I'm a weirdo. I put my toaster oven outside to cook pizzas. Crock pot too. I don't run tubes during the summer, only crappy class D Solid ****. During the winter I heat the house w/ tubes and run the 'stat @65 f. It's all about what you're willing to do to keep the Big Business Boys from draining you dry whilst you have fun. Of course, it helps to only have 1600 ft^2 and to have put alot of effort into extra insulation, etc.
