it wasnt too bad pricewise but youre right you can usually make it just as well at home for a fraction of the price..... I do like Ruth's Chris though

 

Ate at the one in New Orleans...It was a great night...I would consider it in the top 8 of my all time favorite meals...We didn't go crazy or anything, and as I recall it was around $280 for 4 of us...Ate there Mardi Gras before Katrina...

 

three forks in Dallas is still one of my all time favorite, it is well rounded...
