I always felt that it was just his way of learning things did not conform to our "Public school systems" way.

I failed 5th grade yet stayed in the Academically gifted class. LOL..

I had a very bad teacher in 5th grade. She could not teach and I did not want to learn from her.

Somebody should have noticed it early in the year and took me out of her class.

My kids teachers know after the first meeting that I will not let the school system fail my kids and they actually seem to give my kids more feedback and attention to detail than others.

I had a year like that.. Fourth.. stayed in 'isolation'.. essentially in school suspension.. still passed.. just NEVER did any homework. Always did well on my tests though..

I used to sleep in a few in highschool.

One of my friends was throwing spitwads in my hair while I was studying with my eyes closed. I woke up when my teacher was fussing at him. I heard her say, "Daniel is getting an A in this class and you are getting a C. As long as he gets an A then he is welcome to sleep but while you are getting a C, you should be doing your work instead of goofing off. LOL....

I would **** off my teachers cause I wouldn't study, never do homework... but still ace the tests. But my grades would be C's and D's cause of all the work I didn't do.
