That's the point exactly. After the holidays it's back to work and gone again.

 

That sucks...but as they say, life is about the journey....

Thank you. But don't get the wrong impression, this schedule I have now is by no means normal. We are in a recovery/reintegration phase. The idea is to be able to take care of things we had to leave behind for so long. Like our homes and families. And motorcycles of course

 

This thread reminds me of being about 20:
You have a party at your pad, and tell everyone to lock up when they leave. Then when you get out of bed the next day, about 3 in the afternoon they are still there drinking all your booze. And the next day, and the next day. . . .

 

You must have been the man at 20 years old if you had you own place AND enough booze to last all night and into the next afternoon.

 

A shipmate of mine is going through the same thing. Basically as much time as he needs. He spent 7 months in Iraq on a Individual Augmentation.
