Good luck with your projects. I picked up a crashed RC51 back in May for a good price and had it on the road in 3 weeks. Unfortunately finding parts on Ebay that you need can be tricky and sometimes just as expensive as brand new ones. At least you have 2 so you can steal parts from one for the other and replace them later. I have a complete lockset I need to get rid of if you need it. Bought the damn thing and then the salvage dealer suddenly found the key 2 days later.

Oh and where are the pics of YOUR bikes? I've already seen all the pics on your blog.

Just checked the blog. Looks like it took a hard fall on the right side. I had to get new headers for mine to make the exhaust line up better, still not perfect, perhaps you are experiencing the same problem.

My surfing and riding buddy who owns 2 Duc's, 851 and 998, says he would like to find an RC51 he could pick up for a reasonable price. That says a lot.
Oh, and he respects the SuperHawk too.

I've got SP-1 headers on the SP-2 I think and 2Bros cans with Sato mids. Everything was kinda pieced together with a little from here which fit with something from there. In the end it all worked and the 'Hawk even got some new cans out of the deal.

haha good deal hotbrakes. yeah i think im gonna try to find some SP2 headers so i can use the more abundant SP2 exhausts for sale :-\ i think my bike has SP1 headers but someone jerry rigged jardine CFs for SP2 to fit. the mids like seriously almost touch the swing arm on the right/brake side. im in the market for new cans anyways :] i have a friend that had family that knows bruce of bruce fab personally. got his pipes for his gsxr1k for like 250, as well as all my other riding buddies. heres a pic of what they look like:
