My turn to say adeu
So I have sold my VTR and moved to a VTX.
Time to join the old & fat crowd with the rest of my friends.
I will still be checking in from time to time. But most likely not as often. This is still one of the best forums on the web after all.

Dang, I saw that add on craigslist. Thought it may have been an accident . Someone must have got a great deal!
Thanks for the help you've given- more than one thing on my bike was changed as a direct or indirect result of your advice...

I am not sure who got the better deal.. My bike isn't worth that much, and had over 60k miles on it.. This one has only 12k and is 4 years newer, 300ccs bigger and 300lbs fatter!
lol I will stay in touch with the new owner for a while too, perhaps get her to join the forum.

lazn, sad to hear you leaving. I have learned much from your
contributions to the forum. They have helped me work on my S/H
many times. May your VTX bring you as many smiles/miles as the VTR.
Ride Well, with your new ride. Aloha...

As others have said, thanks for your contributions. If I see a VTX with a 954 front end on it, I'll know whose it is.
If the new buyer decides to join the forum, I hope she'll be ready for the feeding frenzy that will follow. Actually, considering what's been posted already, the frenzy has begun.

Sorry to see you go. I enjoyed your posts and comments. Congrats on the VTX. Post updates and thoughts on it, if you would. I'm interested on your thoughts of it. I may be looking to a cruiser in the future... (Keeping the VTR though... )

I would have kept the VTR too, but for the fact I hated to see it sit there not used.
Still love that bike, but in the last year I probably only rode it 3 times. Compared to over 10k a year just on weekends before that. I have gotten more use out of the forum than the bike lately.
7Moore, she lives your side of town, so you might see her riding around.

Sorry to see you go, Lazn. You’ve helped out countless folks here and I’m sure the VTX community will see its collective IQ skyrocket with you aboard! Thanks for everything!
