Actually better brakes make this less likely to happen.. Even poor brakes can lock up the front wheel, but they give poor feedback leaving you wondering just how much effort to put into them, and it's easier to regulate 20-30% effort vs 70-80% effort time after time on the track.
I bet this was some kind of brake failure. I will be at Barber in 3 weeks and i will be sure to not do that.

Nope, and Killer5280 said it, Brain failure not brake failure.
Much like when I went down. I panicked and locked up both brakes and down I went. He panicked and locked up the front brake, endo'd and over he went.

What!...Ok it could be a possibility...But yeh brain failure...If you ride like that you should stick to scooters! You should have no bussiness going that fast on the track and have no abbility to handle your bike...Yep riding over your head right there!
