Wow, hard to tell how close the flying bike came to taking the rider in front out.

I guess that's why we need to upgrade our superhawk front brakes, huh?

Actually better brakes make this less likely to happen.. Even poor brakes can lock up the front wheel, but they give poor feedback leaving you wondering just how much effort to put into them, and it's easier to regulate 20-30% effort vs 70-80% effort time after time on the track.

When I did some roadracing in the late 70's and early 80's, it hardly seemed possible to grab too much front brake, but this guy sure did.

I bet this was some kind of brake failure. I will be at Barber in 3 weeks and i will be sure to not do that.

He was also on the wrong friggin side of the track for Turn 1

It was brain failure, not brake failure.

Nope, and Killer5280 said it, Brain failure not brake failure.

Much like when I went down. I panicked and locked up both brakes and down I went. He panicked and locked up the front brake, endo'd and over he went.

What!...Ok it could be a possibility...But yeh brain failure...If you ride like that you should stick to scooters! You should have no bussiness going that fast on the track and have no abbility to handle your bike...Yep riding over your head right there!
