My 2 cents...Love my country. Hate my government and what they're doing to it. On a side note... why is everything in this country an excuse for the everyman to eat hot dogs and drink beer? I'm willing to bet 9 out of 10 medicated morons walking around couldn't even tell you what the 4th of July is. We sure forget our history fast (if we're old enough to have gone to school at a time where we even learned it in the first place). And "holidays" like Memorial Day and Veterans Day are not "celebrations" (hey lets get an Uber and get shitfaced!). They're observances where we should thank and respect those who sacrificed for us, not just excuses to once again forget and **** all over our history and those who died for it. Unfortunately all most people do is rejoice in another opportunity to stay home from work and get drunk, as they will today. I wish people would wake up or our days of celebrating July 4th will be numbered, if they aren't already. God Bless America!
