Got another Honda
Well, it's not exactly for me tho'. Pics are from the seller's ad:
2002 XR70 Great condition that was ridden very little and had been stored away. I need to clean the carb and replace the stuck throttle before my sons' 9th b-day in early October. Have it hidden over at a friends garage so I'm going to have to sneak off to work on it.
So where's the best place to find kids off road gear? When I'm asked, I advise newenough.com but they are street only.

Not sure about riding gear, I bought locally for my son.
Have you seen this site for parts and what not?

Thats a nice little bike... Hope he enjoys it, I am guessing he will
I have seen used gear listings on craigslist and of course ebay, maybe you will get lucky and get some gently used stuff that someone else grew out of.

Find the local chapter number of your AMA - whatever it is, they'll have a website. The classified section of those chapters are one of the best resources for used Dirt bike equipment (and bikes) - they outgrow them so fast you can get great stuff with often very very little use. Otherwise dennis kirk has reasonable stuff cheaply as well.
That is going to be great. I remember on my son's 9th or 10th birthday I took the afternoon off and told him I'd pick him up at school and had a trailer and his new dirt bike (along with my bike) all loaded and we went to a local place to ride. what a great time you and he will have. Good luck

Yeah, I think he will about mess his pants when he sees it. And yes, I'm all ready wondering how the hell I'll be able to sit on the tailgate and watch him at the local pee-wee (junior) track without jonesing for my own.
Thanks for the links, suggestions, and ideas.
