Do you have the image file saved as something else or is it embedded in the Excel doc.? I don't have CS3 on my home computer, but I can give it a shot using Gimp. You can send it to: randymoser@yahoo.com No guarentees, of course, but I'll give her a shot. I have nothing but time --R.

Umm a logo in excel? Do a print screen and edit it in GIMP or paint.

Logos are usually image files, not spreadsheets.

It's most likely a bit map or Jpeg embedded in the excel file. Should be simple to pull it out of the document if it hasn't been protected like some PDF files. Then invert the image and put 'er back.

I have a laptop battery question, too....may I join in the fun?

I want to be able to take my old and decrepid laptop with me when I go somewhere, but the thing only works when it's plugged in to an electricity outlet. I do have a generator at the place where I go to, but don't really want the noise or the cost of running it just to plug in one tiny laptop. Can I somehow hook my laptop to a car battery or something?

Sure, just pick up a good power inverter and run it off the lighter. I think.
