Been down and out for a while now...

Well.... Sorry its been so long since I'be been here...

I finally had my 3rd knee surgery on 5 Dec. the 1.5 hour surgery to repair a torn meniscus and debrisment of scar tissue turned into a 3.5 hour ordeal they never expected.. AND NEITHER DID I!!!

They found chunks of cartlidge floating everywhere in my knee... they removed all the busted up crap, then shaved my cartlidge down for a re-shaping... then drilled a whole bunch of holes in it to make it bleed ( apparently helps regenerate the damaged cartlidge)

I am still not walking on my own without help from crutches, but I am getting around and back at work now...

the SH is just collecting dust for too long now and I can hardly stand it. I had my twins pull it out of the garage and give her a nice bath and detailing she so depserately needed.

Thats about it for now... I knew that not riding would drive me nutz so I just stayed away from here to keep the withdrawl to a minimum... BUT ITS GETTING REALLY BAD and needed a fix....

thanks for listening.... 8)

Ouch! But at least you're on the road to recovery now. Hope you heal well and fast.

OMG you are hardcore man. Still on crutches, but had to ride his Hawk. We should all be so dedicated to our bikes.

I did that too, I even joked with the wife about modding a couple of hooks to carry the crutches. After my reconstruction I was doing the dragon 2 months later. Wife and Dr. got on me for that one. Only truely addicted people know what it's like to not get your fix!!
