Attractions between VA and IN?
Heading out to the IndyGP next week. Wondering if anyone knows of anything cool to see/do between here and there. Looks like out basic route is going to be richmond over to charleston, up to dayton, then over to indianapolis.

Not sure what types of things you're interested in, but some things in WV that we've stopped at on our trips up there:

New River Gorge Bridge
Green Bank Radio Telescope site on WV Rt 92
Beckley Exibition Coal Mine
Cass Scenic RR

The World's Largest Ball of Twine? Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is in Ohio. AMA Museum is Ohio also. Pick the right road in West Va. and that'a an attraction in itself.

shoulda mentioned that i am driving not riding, so roads are not an attraction when im getting 15mpg. we did the ama museum last year.

yeah yeah... going with a friend that doesnt have a bike. when i rode to ohio a few years ago we took 2 days just to have extra time in wv, that was a lot of fun.
