Anyone else into Stand-up Jet Skis?

Yes, sit downs have taken over but stand ups are so much cooler. Today, I’m going to pick up a 1991 Kawasaki 550 with a 650 swap, aftermarket impeller, ride plate, intake grate, big carb. Should be pretty quick, I can’t wait to put it in the water. It’s nice to give the hawk a rest on a super hot day. Anybody else into them, or even x2’s or wave blasters?

Man, stand-ups are cool-

When I was 22, I used to have a tricked out 1991 Kawasaki 650 with all the bells and whistles. That thing was very fun. Used to dive it and get it 100% under water. I was good at it and would dive it under docks.

I still prefer a stand-up today unless I am making a speed run. They are just more fun.

I grew up riding a kawi 650 stand up and personally stand ups or X-2s are the only way i would buy a jetski I have been debating talking the future wife into letting me get one but she says I have too many toys/projects as it is.

I own two standups, I ride every Tuesday when the weather is right. In my opinion I save the cost of a gym membership easily with em. Congrats on your new water bike. I have not seen the 550 with a 650 conversion myself but I have rode with some fast 550s before. My 650sx was getting boring so
I bought a 750sxi, big mistake. It handled like crap until I added sponsoons and hull extensions. I could of got a superjet had I done some research first.
If ya get a kick out of looking gay, ride a sit-down. Fast as hell---but gay! lol
