Alabama or Texas?

I love Texas with all my heart. I like UT, but since I am originally from AL, I must go with the Crimson Tide!! Roll Tide Roll....

Either way, it's gonna be a great game.....

Well, I have mixed loyalties too. Texas A&M or University of Texas and maybe Texas Tech. But who?

I thought the game had all the makings of a real championship brawl. I have watched miles of game films in my career and can see a cheap shot from the back row. I saw nothing.

The only difference that I can attribute the injury to is the guy flying in from the right is 325 lbs. When I was in the league even our OF didn't weigh 300 lb. per man. Even a glancing blow from a freight train can end your night.

Well said...

But alas, if UT's defense was worth a crap AL wouldn't be scoring...it should still be a close game...Not so much...

The hit didn't look that hard until I watched it several times in replay. McCoy really took a shot. Not dirty, just a really hard hit from a really big guy.

I thought Alabama was going to win straight up, but the game sure didn't start out like that. That opening series was the most inept I have seen in awhile.

It's easy to point at the QB take-out as the turning point in the game. But the athlete that put the hit on McCoy also is a playmaker at the end of the game. I appreciate all yu'alls allegiences but superior athletes are just that.

That and McElroy was playing with cracked ribs, and managed to hang in while getting sacked five times and struggling through a 6-for-11 night that produced only 58 passing yards. Cracked ribs, now that is a superior athlete and leader that does what it takes to get the job done...
