I know you're using a long lens, but still those Porsches, BMWs and Mustangs look pretty tightly packed going through the corners.
Nice shots!

Nice shots!
They were running VERY tight on the rolling starts for each race. That is turn 2 so its right after the front straight. 3+ wide on 45ft going all out must be nuts in a car!

Thanks.

Yes and no. Moto-ST started at 8am and I got up there just after they were done. Also missed their qualifying yesterday

Yeah these were from the D80. Yeah I know what you mean about NASCAR. I went to Talladega a few times. Saw some of the most insane things people (mostly rednecks) will do when drunk .

Thanks guys.

I got excited for a second when I saw the title of the thread. "08 Porsche 250" sounds like a neat new bike...

Brian A is an unknown quantity at this point
I was there all day Sat and Sun.
Based on the position of some of your shots (the Mustang off the edge coming out of the chicane for example) you had to have been standing within 50 feet of me.

My buddy happen to be video and got the crash that resulted in heavy impact to the armco.
I think he is going to put it on YouTube. I'll post here if he does.

Nice pics by the way!

Yup we were just off turn 10 (about the only place to retrait from the sun with a shade LOL) most of the time. I've got a shot of that stangs carnage when he was sitting off the side of the track. Missed the sequence of it with my cam . He nailed it pretty good LOL.

Thanks Brian.
