Then consider the following options that are all significantly less expensive new than the Convertibars.

The Dan-Moto 3D 41 mm clip-ons I have are no longer available from Dan-Moto but may still be available elsewhere new and used. I highly recommend them but I changed all the SHCS and Nylok nuts with quality SS items, and actually found and installed Askew washers because the nut bearing surfaces I chose were curved slightly. The 41 mm adjustable Tomasellis I had on prior (and still have) may also be available but they don't offer rise and quite the adjustability the 3D do.

Another thing to consider is a fork brace. I have long had the almost unobtainum Superbrace in black but here are a few reasonably priced alternatives I've found whose fit and quality are unknown to me.
