WTB right side engine case

My son's bike tipped over in the parking lot and cracked the right side engine case, so he's looking for a replacement.

Check the bike part out threads. There are currently a few of them. Might be able to pick one up for cheap. Ebay is also a good option.

Checked and checked. Even replied on a 3 year old thread to see if there are any parts left over. Thanks.

Google vtr1000 right crankcase cover. Go to the first link, should be motoSport. You need items 1 and 5. Looking at about $230.00 USD. That is if you can't find one for sale on here.

Thanks, I've already located all the parts and part numbers online, Bike Bandit has the same pricing. I'm hoping to find someone parting an engine or bike instead.

You could always get it welded. It looks like a nice clean crack. Easy for someone to TIG weld that back together for you. Weld it, clean up the weld and paint it. It would be cheaper than buying another engine cover.

If you were closer, I would do it for you.
