I figure this is worth a shot. I'm cleaning my carbs and I damaged a float on disassembly. I have no other way to get one sooner than Wednesday. Does anyone out there have one in good shape who'd be willing to overnight it to me today (without charging me a fortune)?

You may want to give ronayers.com a shot. I've never overnighted anything but I have ordered quite a few times always with fast excellent service. Their parts prices are also significantly lower than a dealer. I have no idea if they have everything in stock or if what you said in your other post about a day from Honda and another to get it to you applies...

 

Ronayers wouldn't so much as respond to an email overnight, let alone ship out an order.

 

They are the fastest solution I've found so far - but they still suffer from the man-in-the-middle problem - it takes a day to get to them, and then a day for them to get it to me.

Not the end of the world, it's only a day ;-)
