So I am getting a great deal on some brand new Leo Vince pipes... however they are for a suzuki vstrom. The inlet and pipe diameter are the same as our shawk.. the only diffrence is the length.. shawk is 480mm and vstrom is 400mm. The only problem is that Leo does not make high mount midpipes only the standard ones, so im looking for high mount midpipes preferably leovince but if you are selling highmount midpipes of anytype ill think about it. Im thinking i may take the lower of any highmount mid pipe and welding it to the upper of the vstrom since i know that fits in the pipes inlet.. i know it sounds like a lot of work, but hell if i can put a slipon exhaust for cheap then im in for a couple late nights

 

I am 99.99% sure that my local guy told me the ONLY Leo's he can get are the high-mounts for the Hawk... He is an Italian tech from Italy, specialty is race-oriented/high-performance Ducatis, but he will work on any bike. He is a Leo dealer... I will ask him, but I think they only can be bought in complete sets with cans, mid-pipes only not available.

Just don't quote me on that...

 

Ok man thanks for asking.. Ya i called my leo dealer and he said they sell the parts seperatly but that they discontinued all high mount for shawk cuz they didnt sell enough

 

Well I know that you can't get them from Leo anymore as I just dealt with them last month ordering parts to fix my system.

 

I'm pretty sure the Leo's have the same inlet size as most others... So as long as you make the mounting arms yourself any highmount midpipes should work fine barring problems matching up hooks and mounts...
