Wanted:Helibars for the SH

Do you have a set and want to sell? Know of a set someone else has and might want to sell? See an ad, or auction for some? I'm looking for a straght set of used Helibars...... I love my Super Chicken,,, but the longer rides are becoming more work then fun.

Email me @ emarquez1@hot.rr.com if you have or know of a set for sale.. Thanks

Erik

VFR bars (90-2001) will fit and are just as high as heli's. Used are cheaper too plus they look MUCH better than Heli's IMO. Search threads here on the how-to's.

They were the only bars that would work on my fighter. Helibars tend to break in crashes and you're stuck in one position. My convertibars are top quality and have left nothing to be desired. Cool looking billet aluminum too.

OK thanks.. after looking at them for a bit.... Not sure I like,,, no,, make that I’m sure I do not like the looks of them,, Bet they work well though.. Just looks like a Lego approach... part, attached to part, extra pits of tubing here and there. Plus,,,, they want more the $398 for the kit ... Heli Bars are $215,, and if I could find them,,,, VFR bars used (if available and straight) would be less then that....

Speed_Demon, thanks for the tips.. to each his own...
