Something New - Billet Machined Shift Lever
I jus make the shift lever right now. The brake lever is a bit complicated which means it's expensive. Right now I'm swaping with suspension rebuilds so I won't be getting back to doing any design upgrades until July-August timeframe.
Custom Shift Lever
Hello Jamie -
I would like to purchase one of your custom crafted shift levers for my 1998 VTR1000 Superhawk!
I am presuming that the quoted price includes shipping anywhere in the US?!?
I am at zip code 93420 in CA.
I would like to have the part as soon as is possible.
Thank you!
Patrick

I just meant to imply he might be behind on his e-mails for whatever reason, and that patrickterjak's repost might have been due to a lack of response.
Olaf I understand why you put what you did.
My reasoning follows, if he says "email me" then email him. Odds are he checks his personal email more often than a bulletin board, I know I do.
But I understand what you are saying.

It's more like 11..... it's a sickness...
Of course! I wasn't being serious about him ignoring me because he's sick of my questions... though I do tend to ramble on sometimes.

Hey man, I didn't see any messages from you recently - they must not be getting through for some reason. Shoot me something again!
Anyone know if Jamie Daugherty is still in the business of making shifters? I've emailed him but haven't heard anything back. Really don't want to have to go with the stock shifter if his are more sturdy.
Thanks - Jim V

Yeah, I am - just crazy busy right now! In fact, so busy that I've swamped my CNC guy to the point where he's overloaded. I'm out of the shift levers right now and I keep pushing them down on the priority list so I'm not sure when I'll have more. Hopefully soon! I will let you know when I get more ready.
Well I will say they are worth the wait and if you don't have one, get one as soon as you can. They work really well.
Hell I just might have to pick up a second one just in case as I would never be happy with the stock set up now.

You guys need to get together and make it worth his time to get a batch made.
I'm really serious here. It really helps with the 1st-2nd shifts.
I can bang up and down all day long, no problems, even with the stock shift star.
I don't get a kick back or anything if you're thinking that. I just use one and am very happy with the results and would buy another one in a heart beat if something happened to mine.

Ok guys, I have some more shifters available now. After getting caught up with the people I've promised them to I only have four left. Shoot me an e-mail if you are interested. Thanks for your patience fellas!
I have had my JDM shifter for over a year now and it has worked great. Twice I have had to replace the end piece due to driver error and Jamie replaced it AND shipped it free of charge, even after I demanded to pay the second time. When I have my forks re-valved, hopefully this summer, they will be going to JDM.
Hey Jamie!!!got the new lever!!!looks amazing!!!rear shock is next my friend!ty...side note to anyone on here...are there installations instructions anywhere??i don't like taking stuff off without knowing..better to ask dumb questions than screw my bike up...
