SOLD: Hotcams valve shims $50

It's been a long time since I've been here, and a long time since I owned my Superhawk, but I still have some goodies left over that I want sell off.

So, I've got a complete set of Hotcams valve shims. I used them only once, switching out two shims (don't know which at this point). They originally come with three each of sizes from 1.20 to 3.50. Looking at their site, it appears that they don't make them for the SH anymore

Anyway, if you like doing your own work, buying a set of these shims will be very handy. $50

Dangit, where were you ten days ago

Hotcams still makes a kit for the Superhawk. I just bought a set for $68. Good luck with the sale!

Hmm, I took another look and didn't see SH listed, and their price is $90. Can you send me the link?

Thanks!

Pretty much any of the 9.48mm shim kits fit the superhawk; it's one of the standard sizes for bikes.

I wonder if these shims will fit my V-Strom 1K. Anyone know, by chance? Edit: Took a quick look around and came across a site that said any 400cc + 4 stroke used 9.48 OD shims. So ... these shims will fit my Strom (and many other bikes)?

9.48 or 7.48 are the standards (except for Harleys)

Quick check online says the 1k V-strom does indeed use 9.48's.

Thanks for the confirmation, 7. I guess I'll keep 'em and do that valve check I've been putting off.

No, I didn't think to even ask if they'd fit my Strom = apparently they do, though. If I can edit the post title I will ... don't see how as of now.
