SOLD: DEVIL POLISHED ALUMINUM HIGH MOUNT SLIP ON EXHAUST MUFFLERS
SOLD SOLD SOLD Very nice, very clean pair of Devil (that's "DeVille" like the Cadillac) high mount polished aluminum slip on exhaust mufflers. Polished stainless midpipes in perfect condition (use your original bolts for the midpipe mounting tabs). I'm including a brand new in the box pair of header to midpipe gaskets. Clamps are clean and in good shape. Mufflers are very clean and in excellent condition. They do have some very minor scratches here and there that you can polish out if you want perfection. The left side muffler also has a minor dent on top but it's under the top of the muffler clamp so you will not see it mounted up. Otherwise please see pics, they still look great. I consider these on a short list of the nicest slip ons made for our bikes, and they have the largest diameter midpipes of any of the Superhawk slip ons I've ever seen. They also seem to have a bit better heel clearance than some other high mounts.
Obviously these are pretty rare these days and aren't getting any easier to come by, especially in this condition. When I got these the original bolts and spacers for the passenger pegs were not included. I did put a set together however from some spare Jardine and LeoVince pieces I had that are staggered (staggered because the hangers only use the rear on each side and the other spacer has to be longer by the width of the hanger so they're even) like the originals. Since it always comes up no these do not have db killers and don't appear to have ever come with them. I'm sure you could easily drill a hole in the bottom of the outlet and add some if that's your thing.
I've described them to the best of my ability. If I missed something please feel free to ask. They're still is really nice shape but they're used and sold AS-IS. As I've stated in the past mounting of any exhaust does require a little patience, a little finessing and a little skill in order to get proper clearances, symmetry, etc. Yes as often as not I have had to play with brand new out of the box exhausts a little to get them perfect. If you're not comfortable doing it please take it to a shop. Also if you expect a brand new in the box exhaust please buy one.
