SARGENT SEAT FOR SALE
SOLD SOLD SOLD
Here’s a good Sargent seat for sale. Took lots of pics so you can see the condition and any blemishes. There are no rips or tears in the top of the seat, and the drivers section is actually very nice. Passenger seat has a bunch of small scratches and marks-looks like whoever had it before used to tie stuff down to it? It’s not terrible but it’s there. The rear edge has a small cut that I left alone. I also took pics of the bottom and front edges of the seat. A few of the corners on the bottom had small cuts that I applied a little black liquid leather to. Did the same with the front of the seat where it meets the tank. The seam was separating. Doesn’t look bad, and you really won’t see this stuff much with the seat mounted up. So it’s not perfect but it still looks nice and the price is right. $195 plus shipping.

If it was all black or had blue trim and the timing was better I would be all over it. A Sargent seat is at the top of my list and you can't beat this price!

I figure it'll go pretty fast. I'm going to be selling a bunch of stuff on here so I'm trying to give some decent prices.

I've got a red 98 so this would be perfect for me. Does the cowl work with this? That would take care of the scratches. I live in Canada however and that creates shipping problems.

According to Sargent's website blurb on their seats, they do work with the rear cowl.

Yes the cowl works fine. PM me your postal code and I'll check on a shipping price to Canada.

Wow, that's a great deal. Wish I still needed one sinceI paid over a hundred more for a used one.

Hey Mike I PM'd you shipping info it doesn't look too bad.

If it is not included in the shipping info, don't forget to factor in Customs Brokerage Fees for international shipments (above and beyond the actual freight cost); courier companies like UPS can charge a LOT to clear the shipment through customs. Cheapest customs brokerage I am aware of is the Postal Service.

Thanks yeah I've had several folks from Canada wanting a couple things I'm selling. Per one member it seems the USPS is the way to go. He said while actual shipping cost may be a few dollars more, the end result for the buyer is cheapest.

Fits fine with rear cowl. I unbolted the two metal tabs/ears under the seat.
Slipped the cowl over and rebolted the tabs. Took about 4 minutes. Working/looking fine. Great price on a, IMHO #1 comfort investment. Plus, buying from the Capt.
is always a pleasure. Can't believe it hasn't sold yet. Do I need a spare...?

how'd you color the end part? would it be possible to change the color? seems like every after market seat has weird and quite frankly wholly undesirable red pin striping on it...

I didn't, it comes from Sargent that way. They have different options with regards to texture and colors and I've seen them with and without the color matched passenger seat.
