All ribbing aside it is a nice looking piece but I hate the maintenance on my polished rims, frame, swing arm, rearsets, controls, passenger pegs... if I were to add more keeping it polished may take more than the rainy days.

So as a noob I'm confused...Is there something wrong with a polished stator cover functioning? Cause if it works just fine then I'll take it! I don't mind giving my bike a good polishing!

Yeh well, listeneing to Dave Mustaine and his boys is getting to you

Keep looking in the classifieds, and the Bay also. At this time of the year, you can probably find good deals with guys parting out since it's the end of another riding season for them.
