Someone backed into the front end of my KLR a few years ago and denied there was any damage. The sidestand was bent and there was a 12" long scrape on the ground from the bike being pushed backwards on the stand. Duh! How could you not feel that! Worst part was a u-lock in the front fork/wheel. Had to truck the bike home just in case of fork or wheel damage.

My 92 FZR 1000 was backed into by a Tahoe. I was at a coffee shop sitting outside having my Joe when this idiot backs up with out looking. There were 12 other opened spaces around my bike but no....
I watched in shock as the bike lifted up on the side stand both wheels off the ground then BAM! on the left side. $1300. in damage.
The driver was about to drive away but I guess me standing on the running board banging on his window changed his mind.

I've got a left clip-on that you can have for free but I don't know if its undamaged or not. after I crashed my bike, I bought this one off of ebay used. the seller said it wasn't damaged, but I was never completely sure so I got vortex clip-ons anyway. hence I'll give it to you. but I don't know how much shipping is, and I've never sold parts before so I don't know the procedure. if you send me the shipping cost(whatever that might be) I'll send you the part. I have a paypal account, but only used it to send money, never to get. so if you know the drill, fill me in and we can get you rolling again. on the other hand it might be simpler to buy the part from someone who knows what they're doing. your call. I just know that I'm never gonna use the damn thing.
