Excuse my lack of knowledge on this...
What is a Fairing Stay? I am currently looking for fairing parts and not sure the termonology on everything.
And maybe you can tell me what are the "black pieces that bolt on below the rear seat cowl called?

There are several black pieces bolted under or inside the rear cowl. Can you be more specific?

I will try to explain...
There are two pieces that attach on either side and a larger flat piece - the smaller pieces attach to the frame? and the larger piece is like a mud guard underneath. Another part would be the license plate a piece - I think I remember this right. I got the bike after it had been "dropped" (doing 5miles an hour and causing more damage than one would imagine). So I am learning and finding things out as I go along. I appreciate your time! Thanks! Jason
