Parting out 98 superhawk

I'm parting out my 1998 Superhawk street fighter. Obviously no fairings but everything on the bike otherwise is good. 954RR front end with 1000rr front fender, pilot power (50%) and convertibars. The forks are perfectly straight, and have 2k miles on new honda fork seals and fully synthetic fluid. 15/43 gearing with 1k miles and good stock chain. It was just painted so if someone wanted all the body work as a package I could do that too. PPG black metallic basecoat/clearcoat. Because of shipping I'm going to hang onto the motor/carbs/cdi for a kart project but everything else goes. The bike has about 12k miles. Clear title frame although it did get a couple dings which I body filled. One of the fairing tabs broke off and one of the head stay mounts was reattached. I rode it for 6k miles and never had an issue. Tabs until 09.

Let me know what you need and I'll get some prices together. I don't mind offering lower than ebay prices here but have to be reasonable.

If anyone is building a street fighter and wants my headlight and radiator setup it would save you quite a bit of time and money.

I'm interested in the rear cowl/tail and the gearing. Is the gearing 520 or 530? Is that a fender eliminator kit? How much $

The chain/sprockets are steal 530's. JT front, Sunstar rear. I was going for maximum life. As far as the tail goes I would like to see if someone wanted the set because of the new paint but if no one jumps on it its all yours. I'd take $120 for it. As far as the chain/sprockets $60. No fender eliminator.

Convertibars

Convertibars? Do they require longer cables? I dunno what fair $ is for these things because the site offers about sixteen different options. I'll say $75 bucks and I'm open to negotiations from there. If these will not fit a stock SH front end then this post has been useless. WC

Sorry but I can't take $75 for the bars. After looking on ebay they will probably go for about $230. I don't mind giving deals here but the keyword is reasonable. If I don't get what I want out of them I'll just keep them. Once you pic the proper size clamp there are only three options. 0 degree, 4 degree, and 9 degree bar extensions. The 4 degree with 6.5" play is the only sensible option for any sport bike. The clamps are 50mm so they will not fit a stock superhawk (41mm) but they will fit rc51, 929, 954, 916 and many more forks. Most modern sport bikes with inverted forks are 50mm so anything I ever buy they will work on. I didn't need longer cables but I guess if you wanted to set them freakeshly high you would need them. The beauty of these is you don't have to mess around trying to find a clip-on that will work when you modify your bike.

No insult intended; I just wanted to get dibs before someone else. They will not fit anyway. Good luck with the sale. WC

I need the right side casting that the pilot's footpeg, muffler and rear brake master cylinder mount on.

Let me know price and availability, please.

TIA

No problem I wasn't insulted. It just one of the few parts I'd like to hand onto unless I got a good offer. Thanks for the interest.

954RR front-end forks, triples, brake calipers, and brake lines $450
954RR front wheel with tire and rotors $250
front fender 1000RR (color is such that it would look good with any color, kinda like how carbon fiber looks good with anything) $30
front master cylinder 954RR $40
pass pegs $36
rear wheel $100
chain/sprockets/chain $60
convertibars $225
headlights with brackets (50mm clamps) and signals $90
tank $225
seat $30
tail light $10
shock $30
tail fairing (was perfect before paint, no cracks) $120
radiator with brackets and hoses and 1000rr filler neck/cap $45
cluster (has repaired underside) $45
oil cooler and lines (have to warn you one of the two mounting brackets snapped off) $15
spare stock clutch (75% life) $30

I'll post more prices as people ask. I have no idea what the rear sets are worth so without a frame of reference I may ebay them.
The exhaust is pending a local sale. Open to offers always though.

Because people are from all over and different countries all the prices are just for the parts. I do however get favorable shipping rates.

Sorry if I've been a little sluggish at the PM's I had some dude want to buy the whole thing. So far no call and rather than hold it for him I'd rather sell the parts to you guys anyway. I'll give him a couple hours and then you can expect lightning fast responses.

Ok, I have some small parts I need, Specifically the rear sprocket *mount* and bolts [the part between the cush and the sprocket]. I bought a stripped rear wheel, and would like to run a bigger rear sprocket for the track without having to unbolt every time..

I also need the pass peg mounting bolts, and depending on the price, would like to get in line for the complete rearsets..

Some dude just offered me what I was asking for the bike so it is gone. I'm very sorry and didn't mean to jerk anyone around. I didn't even know the bike was still listed. The only thing I have left is the spare clutch.

I might be interested in the spare clutch. 96819 is my zip in hawaii.
Let me know if its a reasonable rate, if not lets see if we can fit it into a "flatrate" box from the USPS. $13 for the box, to anywhere as long as it fits inside.
