How do these tank bra things attach to the tank, do they have elastic or Velcro straps. We don't get them in the UK and I quite like the look. I should imagine they help protect the tank a bit too. Do they give the knees any more grip or are they as slidey as the paintwork. :thinking

The one I have has, I think, four plastic clips that secure it at the rear, lower edge of the tank and a thicker, elasticised cord that runs around the front of the tank and secures the front. The thing isn't tacky, but it's not as slick as painted metal.
Strange how they are not something that is marketed over here.
