My old HJC fit fairly similar to my Shoeis. I imagine it would fit approximately the same still.

 

Man, why does everyone have such a big head? I wear a Medium otherwise I'd snap up the Shoei.

Brain size is not related to intelligence. An elephant has a REALLY big head, but with a brain the size not much larger than that of a human. Elephants aren't really very smart. They are also slow, much the way KC rides.

And birds aren't that smart either, even the super rare Tweety Bird, aka "Birdy", with it's unusually large head given it's body size. Even the relatively stupid talking parrot has a vocabulary much larger than "I taught I taw a puddy tat. I did! I did!"

I've got a Shoei RF-800 now, do you know if the Shoei Z-II uses the same shield attachment? Don't all the Shoei's use the same attachment style?

Yes! The Z2 uses the CX1 shield (it's imprinted on the side of the shield, near the warning about this shield is not shatterproof not for use at night blah blah.

IIRC, the XSP2 (and XSP), RF800, RF900, Xtec, Z2, Syncrotec, and X8 use the CX1 shield.

The helmets that use a CX1V shield are the X11, RF1000, TZR...pretty much the new Shoei line.
