FS: Sharkskninz (?) Lower

FS: Sharkskninz (?) Lower
Up for grabs is an aftermarket lower, Sharkskinz I believe. It is complete, no cracks, but it does have wear. It belonged to a buddy of mine who did track days, and I have no use for it. If you're using it for the track, just plug and play. If you're using it for the street, you may want to have it repainted. Not sure why, but there is some thick clear vinyl at the bottom center, perhaps to protect from dings on the track? It may appear as a crack in the pictures, but this is not the case. Also, I took the last picture to show a close up of the wear, which almost makes it look worse than what it is.

It is not a sharkskinz fairing!
I have one also...it's not sharkskinz.
I don't know the brand, but look at the sharkskinz website and parts for the vtr and you will see what the sharkskinz looks like.

Well I've been looking for a lower for some time now and they always go fast on here lol. So if it fits and looks good I'm interested, also I'm on the lookout for a hugger if anyone has one

that would be great, also can you tell me where the sharkskinz lower mounts to on the bike, i was looking at how this will mount on my bike and the brackets seem like they may be a little involved
#21
unfortunately i dont have the lower here its at my buddies body shop being prepped and painted. Best i can remember the shark skinz uses the upper fairing and one bracket on the lower right side to hold it on. The bracket connects where the old belly fairing woud go

yeah one of my bolts goes in there too for that belly pan thing. ill have to make a bracket to come down from the forward mounts for the fairings. onces its painted and cured ill start playing with it. thanks

it does a little but that gives me an idea of how im gonna run mine. the mount on the inner fairing is where ill mount my lower up to. ill just make a bracket to attach one to the other and that should hold it up. appreciate the pics

so that bracket that attached the fairing and bottom of the rad to the bike is a little higher than i expected. i may end up trying to just attach it to one of the engine cover bolts. i pulled one off either side and they seem long enough to accept a thin piece of metal in there. i didnt wanna play with the lower too much because its still not fully cured in its primered state but tomorrow if i have time ill get something made up for it
