I could never justify 2 bikes either til I totaled the SH and bought it back from the Insur com for 1200. I planned on a slow reconstruction since it had to pass PA's new title inspection. So I bought a dual sport for the interim. Once I got the SH titled and back on the road, I had fallen in love with the dual sport for riding the rough-***, twisty, gravel laden roads, and for winter roads with crap on them, like it is now. Fun sliding around on this **** if you don't get too radical. Been riding for the past three days, sunny and 35-45 deg, sunny, wow! Maybe we'll see you around.

I am the one who bought the bike from dsevans. I picked it up this morning. I figured this would be a good place to introduce myself. I rode about 25 miles today and so far i couldn't be happier. My other bike right now is 2002 kawaski concours, so i am looking foward to a more sporty ride with this bike. I have attached a couple of pictures.

 

I would normally say welcome aboard, but there is a forum rule that specifies that rodents are forbidden, and that members selling a their SH to said will be excommunicated terminally. hahaha. 20,000 comedians out of work and I'm tryin to be one, huh/

seriously, welcome and I assume your also not too far from altoona. Have fun on your new ride. lot of good people to help you, and sometimes hinder you, but it's all for your own good.hahaha. I'm havin fun tonite.huh.
