FS P&M Trispoke aluminum rims

VTR1000 chrome rims

Used P&M billet aluminum front and rear rims. Vector sprocket.
Had them on a 98 about 8k miles on them. About 500 on the sprocket.
Straight and true. No dents, no scratches.

Can use a good polishing, they have been sitting for some time.
Wanted to keep them for another hawk but I dont see that happening anytime soon.

PICS AT END OF THREAD

Paid $2098
well start the asking price at 1500 but...
Make an offer, B/O takes them.

You'll probably want to go ahead and weigh them as I'm sure anyone interested is going to ask.

price is 1500 but the best reasonable offer is what takes them.

I will have photos and exact weight soon, I remember they were much lighter than stock.

Weight:
Front 22.4 lbs
Rear 33.4 lbs

Front tire fine.
Rear tire I would say would be a burner.

Those weights have to be off. Stock wheels are significantly lighter than that, even with tires and rotors. I'd double check that.

No, I was thinking they should be lighter, not heavier. Aftermarket wheel makers usually try to cut weight for better handling.

Billet aluminium is not the lightest material. If the tires are "typical" weight, front around 9lbs, rear around 14lbs, that makes the wheels about 13 and 19. Not alot more than stock, but then they are also "chrome" which adds a little weight I think. Worth it if the looks are to your taste.

I think you're going to really have a limited audience for a bling set of wheels for a superhawk. Mostly folks are going to be looking for something lighter than stock, and you're going to be hard pressed to find anyone that's going to pay more than I'd say $500-$800 for that... You can probably start by polishing them up and taking better pics-I've sold lots of **** and it really works wonders. Best of luck to you.
