Frame sliders are gone! Still have from the cylinders down on the engine, OEM calipers, much more!


Hi guys,

Clearing out the basement and hopping someone can use these items. Not pictured is the whole lower part on the VTR engine and cylinders, an RC51 front seat, a Monster 800 seat (torn and stinky), a CBR1000RR double bubble shield, VTR frame sliders and a few other bits that I’ll list later.

I’m in Concord, NH and can meet folks in the area NP.

Mystery Tree: $35



I THINK this is a CBR1000RR tree. I bought it from Ebay and the guy there didn’t know, either. I can do measurements if you want or maybe someone can verify what this is by the picture. Threads look good and I see no problem with it.

VTR Heads: $70 (Sold)


Some folks said they were interested in the heads, but not the rest of the engine, but now they’re gone. Anyhow… These appear to be in good shape, but what do I know? If you have questions, please ask.

VTR Valve Covers: $20 for both (Sold)


Very few scrapes on these and I’m sure they’d look sharp on someone’s bikes. If someone wants the heads I’ll throw these in for free as long as someone else doesn’t want the covers first. Please let me know if you’d like more pictures.

VTR Flywheel: $30 (Sold)


Now’s the time to lighten your flywheel. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to go back if you don’t like it? I have another one of these and if you want two you can have them both for $50.


VTR Stator Cover and Stator: $35 (Now sold WITHOUT center bolt)

 

Whats up with the valve cover pair holes, is that just tape over it or something?

 

Yep, it's just tape over them to avoid oil spills when the thing was moved.

 

Bumpy bump bump.

Also happy to trade this stuff towards other stuff... Fork brace, RT valve, CBR f4 shock (modified or not, to get me started), etc...

 

What sliders and how much?

 

I'm not sure of the brand. Here's a picture. I have the center bolt somewhere. (Might be sold. I need to find the bolt)

How does $15 plus shipping sound? SOLD!

And here are the OEM calipers. There's nothing wrong with them. I just upgraded.

Ah, heads seem to be gone and the stator will now come without the center bolt. Still have the whole lower engine (minus the pan) fs or trade, too.

I've made updates. Basically everything except the stator cover and calipers are sold. I still have the entire bottom end of the engine and am still interested in trades for the f4 shock or stick coil mod. I've had great experiences w/ everyone so far

Bump. The engine (just the lower) is back up FS. It's boxed up and can be sent the minute I get payment. I'm asking $20 plus shipping. No pictures, though, since it's in a box now. Still interested in a F4 shock, fork brace, etc... which can go towards the total of the engine including shipping. the triple trees, a F4 master cylinder and a few other little things are still also available. I'll add pictures in the next couple of days.

The triples do look like cbr1000rr triples but I. Would like to verify the measurements.

What's the history on the engine? Is it everything except heads? Is the transmission attached?

I got the engine with a bunch of other parts a while back. It had ccts installed, but I’m not sure about anything else. I sold a bunch of little stuff. Another guy here said he wanted it so I searched all over town for a box big enough, bought peanuts and insulating foam to make sure it didn’t move around, sealed it up, then hauled it to UPS to get the shipping. I brought it back here and it sat for around five months, I think.

If you’re really interested and can pick it up locally, let me crack the box open and get you some pictures. I honestly don’t recall everything that’s in the box at this point. I have tomorrow afternoon off and will post pictures then.

Well I'm deffinitely interested in the tripples as I'm getting a set of cbr1000rr forks...

The engine is more of an afterthought of having a spare to pick away at but for $20 I might as well...

Take some pics of the engine(sorry to have you pull it out again) and I will get back to you this weekend

 

No worries. Seller assumes all heartbreaks. For $20 I don't know how anyone can go wrong. Shipping on the original deal was something like $80 so I don't blame the dude for saying no. Just sort of a long pregnancy on this thing.
