Hate to get rid of the SH but I think I'm wanting to get back into something a little more dual oriented before the baby hits here and the wife cuts off buying bikes lol. I live by plenty of trail roads and don't ride the SH near as much as I'd like. Considering trades on DRZs, KTMs, etc as well.

Very clean 2002 Honda VTR1000F Superhawk, 16,046 adult owned miles, second owner, Pro-Grip tank protector, APE CCTs, frame sliders, custom LED tail light, Motrax LED rear turn signals w/ load equilizers, flush mount front turn signals, oil changed every 2500 miles with Mobil1 synthetic w/ OEM Honda oil filter, jet kit, K&N filter, Pilot Power tires (70% front tread left / 30% rear tread left), Devil highmount exhaust (still retains passenger pegs), tinted bubble screen

I also have the stock clear screen, pair of new grips, spare mint condition red stock fuel tank*. It could use a battery but does crank and run fine.

$4200* with the extra tank. $4000 without the extra tank. Clean title in hand

I'm locatted in central Alabama. I would be willing to travel to some of the surrounding areas in the southern neighboring states. Although I'm not opposed to a good deal to a bike a little further out if its solid. Let me know if you're interested and what you have to offer. Would consider trade for a clean DRZ400S dual sport.

Update:

Woke up this morning to one hell of a storm. One guy is stopping by today around 2 or so to check the bike out. Woke up and cleaned the bike up for him. Decided to make a video ad of the bike with a quick walk around.

I will take $4300 for this bike (without extra tank) but that is the lowest I can go for those interested on breaking it up.

It snowed here yesterday. Rare thing to happen here. I cleaned thew **** out of the bike with the plastics off then cleaned it with them on. Rolled the bike out and snagged this pic heh.

I have this bike listed on several online places. It has been up for sale for about 2 weeks and I'm lowering the price. Economy is rough right now. KBB value for my bike is $4950 but due to the economy and buyers market, we have no choice right?

Price dropped to $4200 with the extra tank. $4000 without it. Still considering clean DS trades as well. Let me know what you have to offer.

Bike looks great, but in our defense, owning a superhawk is the main reason for being on this forum (was for me anyway). Dont be such a wimp; put some dual sport tires on it & do your trail riding! In europe the motor & frame make a veradero.

Yeah I know I know . If I felt it was a good candidate for what I want to ride thru, then I'd love to have a hawk powered beast. It would be overkill in the woods but insane for sure!

Took the day off to handle a few things around the house. Decided to wash up the bike and take some detailed pictures. I mentioned in my initial post that the spare tank is mint. Well everywhere except for one small area where it looks like the PO tried to fix it with some touch-up paint. Everything else on the tank is mint.

Just listened to the Youtube of the bike. Those Devils sound unbelievable. Should have been made standard issue when ordered new. Good luck with the sale.

 

Yeah this bike has been by far the best sounding bike I've ever owned! I will miss the sound of these pipes for sure as well as miss the bike in general!
