Hey Mike, I think my post got deleted but I had asked it you have monthly gun shows like we do here in South Florida? I don't know alot about guns like my brother does but he's sold several of his just walking around there with them. In particular his AR, which given had a bunch of extra **** on it like the laser sight, the hologram, the grenade launcher lol. He had a bunch of guys with cash in hand run after him & give him close to $3k for it (sorry I had previously said $2500 but I just asked him).
Anyway he said any of these for sale under $1k is a good deal so best of luck with it.

We have gun shows like that here about once a month. They've tightened up on this a bit but private sales - individual to individual are still exempt so these guys have become "brokers." But the deal can still be done on the spot. You might also check the states around you. It might be worth a weekend trip with the wife to "parade" your gun around. If it's a quality piece (knowing you it would be none less) you can prob make your travel expenses + the gun. Good Luck!
Sorry, I don't know all the geography up there. Being from Texas is easy in that regard.

this is a federally regulated firearm
it requires an ffl transfer.
any questions please pm me
to complete this sale out of state i would have to take it to my local ffl.
who would then ship to the potential buyer once all checks are completed.
if this was a colt hbar then it could be completed ftf.
This has less than a 16 in. barrel so is regulated.
it requires an ffl transfer.

no this is not the sbr.
the total length with the brake is 16 in.
because it is not a 20 in. heavy barrel it is regulated.

If the flash hider is permanent and measurement from bolt face to front of flash hider is 16", it's not a sbr. It's just a rifle under federal law.
You'd need an FFL on each end to ship it across state lines but not for an out of state face to face sale in states where such private sales are unregulated.

It is not Federally regulated. Interstate sales are Federally regulated. I don't know MD laws, but the Feds don't care about a FTF sale for that rifle. The heavy barrel is irrelevant. The 20" barrel is irrelevant. The barrel is 16" or more OAL. That is the important number.

PS Federal law forbids interstate transfer of handguns without FFL and paperwork, even face to face.

Good luck.
FWIW.
Your rifle with a 16+ inch OAL of barrel and permanent flash hider is simply a '"rifle" under federal law. Nothing special. Might as well be a single shot .22 rimfire.
There is a gun show, a really good one, in Valley Forge/King of Prussia, Pa. March 12. 13 and 14.
If you're willing to drive an hour and a half, you could do a face to face, green money cash private sale without any paperwork, without any FFL and without breaking any state or federal laws.
If you keep advertising it as having "a 14.5 inch barrel", which would make it an NFA SBR, which it isn't, you'll probably never sell it.

There is no federal law prohibiting FTF private sales of rifles even if the buyer/seller are from different states. If the sale is conducted in a state permitting ftf sales (like Pa.), it is out of the jurisdiction of Md., none of Md.'s business, and in violation of no law whatsoever.
Md. gun sale laws only apply to gun sales made within the boundries of the state Md. They don't mean **** in Pennsylvania, Virgina or West Virginia. All of which, I believe, permit FTF, paperless sales of long guns as does federal law.
Long story short;
Any sale within Maryland requires paper work.
A sale SHIPPED to another state requires paper work.
A ftf sale in a state where ftf long gun sales are legal is simply a cash and carry private sale, no paper work or FFL required.
