Hey all, I am thinking about selling my 2000 Honda VTR-1000 with Yoshi slip ons. The bike has about 25kish, almost all highway miles. I am looking to get around $5,200 for her. The bike is yellow, it has a touring windscreen (I think it's touring)..
The bike has stock jetting.. and does not come with any gear.
So, e-mail me with questions and I will respond with pictures.
The bike is located in Michigan, area code 49080.\

Here's some more information:
The actual ODO read out is a little above 29,000mi. I wasn't thinking right when I made the original post.
* The bike has never been laid down
* Clean title
* Newer tires
* Fender eliminated
* Recent service
* Never raced nor stunted
* Gets 39-43 highway MPG, if you ride gingerly
* Feels solid

Feel free to PM me or e-mail me at the address above

You may get $5200 for it, it would depend on where you advertise it of course - probably not that much though from anyone on this forum... check craigslist, cycle trader, etc for what similar age/mileage Superhawks are going for and set your price accordingly.
My bike I am selling is almost identical to yours and I have 16k miles on it and selling for 3800. Still no love. I am in the same boat brother, they are awesome bikes and it is hard to get rid of it for anything less.
Are you guys in Canada or Australia? Bikes are a LOT higher there because of taxes and currency exchanges. I watched a nicely equipped Superhawk with about 12 k miles on it sit at $3250 forever in the classifieds. I see the ads all the time (cycle trader & CL) for even newer models at $52 and $59 hundred - what a joke! They're not selling unless they're perfect! There's no more parts available for those models than the old ones and miles to a Superhawk are like bees and honey.
