OK, I guess it had to happen eventually but I'm not happy about it. I'm a 55 year old gal who is an ex racer from So Cal and have developed arthritis in my left and right hands in the middle two fingers causing shifting (in particular to be very painful). Also, the weight on my wrists is painful as well so I need to raise those handlebars UP, UP, UP to the max and also back an inch or two so I'm not so stretched out. Sigh...it sucks to get old If this doesn't help I'm going to have to sell my Superhawk and get a smaller CC bike like an SV650. I had one previously and it's a great bike with a soft clutch.

If anyone comes across these please let me know. I'm also caring for my elderly mother so extra money isn't easy to come by.

Didn't see any right now, but keep an eye on ebay I got a used set of convertibars on there awhile back for a great price. Also paid retail for a new set when I did the RC51 fork swap (ouch). Probably an even better, and certainly a budget option, is to use some superbike bars. Do a search there have been a bunch of posts with pics and how to's. Again buying used can get you there pretty cheap.
