I bought the hawk with a BMC race filter installed and PO said bike was rejetted but didn't know how. It runs good but is either rich or lean and I can't really tell by riding it for sure. The muffler tips stay tarnished but not sooty. No dynos around here and I'd rather put it back stock anyway. It isn't making the power it should so the needles, mains and slow jets may all be wrong. I don't want to pull it apart and then have to go to the local Honda shop and pay a premium for carb parts. I also have the stock filter with which it runs good and with either filter it can get 40+ mpg. It will 1st gear wrist wheelie but not 2d gear with stock sprockets. I will trade the BMC filter for the stock carb jets and needles and would also like to use a long stack on the front carb. PM me to discuss a solution and thanks, Bud.
