brand new helibars

it was going really good today. looking forward to the installation of my recently purchased helibars. opened up the packing every as promised. awesome! lets go over to the bike and see what kind of change these will in fact make. 1"1/8 taller "1/2 rearset this is gonna be so cool . hey wait i cant see any difference? man those guys at heli make them look exactly like the stockers. then a big heli stamp on my current bars jumped right into my eye sockets. oh ****! well no wonder they dont look different there the same dam bars. i bought them on e-bay from mxsouthstreet. there brand new. never mounted. i read their policy. they only do exchanges. i have e-mailed them to see what they advise. i paid $243 after shipping. i will ship them anywhere continental usa for $233. send me a private message if you are interested.

Birdoprey is an unknown quantity at this point
Doh!
I feel your hurt. When I discovered that my Concours had fork tube extensions/handlebar risers on it I yanked them off and threw them away. I liked the lower bars of the first year bike. 'We don't need no stinking bar risers!'
Then I found Ebay. Old bike nirvana. Loving it.
Until I found out I could've sold those risers for better then $100 !
Doh!

well just thought i would update this a bit. my loss could be someone's gain. mxsouthstreet wants 20% restock plus shipping which i imagine is the same as what i payed to get them here($10). so the 20% equals $46.60+$10.00 that means the price has come down. so my stupid *** is offering them for $186.40 shipped anywhere in the continental usa.

I'm laughing but only because I have done the same stupid **** more than once. It goes with the territory. You're being really fair about this and it IS a good deal. Most of us have to pay full price because Heli has a strangle hold on their distributor network so if you're waiting for a sale to come along don't - because they don't. When I bought my Helibars I shopped my *** off and found that the price only deviated by a couple bucks here or there.
