Bike and Mod's Going
Well, like so many others, life has put an unexpected smackdown on me and some things will just have to go. As some of you know I intended a fork swap, it’s all set to go but, as I’m forced to sell the hawk, I might as well keep it stock and sell off everything else. Let’s keep it civil, and call dibs with pm sent OK? So.. here goes.
98 Hawk with 34,000 miles, respectable cosmetic condition, some scrapes and chips and a crack in rear seat cowl on the underside. New mid season last year: Battery, Pirelli Diablo Corsa III’s front and rear, Vortex 520 15/43 chain conversion with X chain, APE cct’s, Custom fork brace (see in my profile), also have done the pair removal mod, the TPS set to 500 ohms, Haknslash LED taillight mod, carbs already have aftermarket needles and jets, and the rectifier has been replaced by P.O. with a finned unit. If a member buys it, the Corbin seat goes with, if it sells on CL, the stock goes with and I’ll post the seat after the sale is complete. Got it listed on CL for $2500.00, I’d go $2200.00 for any member, I’m in North Eastern CT.

stebbdt,
I sorta know what you mean by mid life crisis , I lost my wife last Oct to cancer and starting dealing by trying to fill the hole with more bikes, thn wouldn't you know the friday right before the nicest weekend of the year AFTER the bikes were all clean and ready to ride I had a drop out of attic 10ft to concrete and shattered my right wrist and that has killed the bikes for the past month & 1/2 of course all beautiful weather but after a couple weeks it was killing me a the mid life set in and this is how I attempted to cure it. I'll admit it has worked some. Wouldn't you know I can still work a clutch and shift with a cast but not a throttle. So don't worry it will all work out sooner or later.
Good Luck to you, and my cast should be off in a week or so so back to 2 wheels.

Rollin20z, sorry to hear of your loss, but, glad to hear you're working through the healing process, I've been married 36 years and know that the abyss would be deep if I lost her. Shortly your wrist will heal and be a dim memory, her memories will stay bright and true brother. God Bless.

Safe to say that the forks are NOT available. Obvoiusly i am NOT Stebbdt, however i'm fairly sure i can relinquish this information on good authority...
I BOUGHT THEM!! They now have a permanent home on my '98 Firestorm in New Zealand.
