'98 Superhawk - Ohlins, extras, in KC
Spring time bump! Price reduced to $3400 with all modifications or $2600 with stock shock and seat.
1998 Honda VTR1000 Superhawk (aka chickenhawk)
19k miles
Bike is located in Lenexa, KS

I've had this bike for about 5 years and have set it up to be quick in the twisties or at the track. The bike has never been crashed. The suspension is sprung for a 160lb rider. With the suspension and brake upgrades, this bike is a blast to ride.
I average about 2000 street miles a year and about 3 track days a year. This bike runs perfectly every time. Exhaust was installed by previous owner. He also mentioned it has been jetted. I don't know, I've never had to take the tank off.
Modifications
Micron slip-on high mount exhuast (low, deep sound)
Sargeant seat
Ohlins rear shock (over $1000)
Front forks resprung, valved, and set up by the fabulous Greg Nemish
Coerce front fork brace
Front forks raised 10mm in the triples
RC51 front brake calipers
RC51 front brake master (lever was slightly bent when I got it)
Braided front brake lines
Carbone Lorraine SBK5 brake pads
520 chain conversion and vortex sprocket (-1 tooth on front)
Dunlop Qualifiers with less than 1000 miles
Regular oil changes
Brake and clutch fluid flushed every season
Cosmetically it is in very good shape. Very very minor chips and scratches from typical riding. One mirror has a crack in the lens and one tail light bulb is out. That's all I can think of.
Stock parts included except exhaust.
Feel free to email or call with any questions.

+1. Yeah not a bad price considering how much the extra's are worth. If it were me I'd sell the extra's off and sell the bike stock. Even though my money pit is going to the grave with me I still keep alot of the stock stuff around in case...

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll definitely miss her. But I just picked up a brand new CBR1000RR which will help comfort me Wish I could keep her, but 5 bikes in the garage is getting kinda crowded. Also selling my 2001 Triumph Speed Triple for $3500 if anyone is interested.

That is good to know, but when most people say
"If only you were closer" It usually means, they don't have or don't wanna spend the money at this time..LOL...I know for me I have a bike to sell before even considering another Hawk. Of course if you were closer that process might speed up a little..
Good Luck with the sale!
