3-way adjustable shock for sale
3-way adjustable shock for sale
For sale: modded stock Showa shock. Has Race tech Gold Valve kit and has also been fitted with a reservoir which not only reduces fade under hard use but also permits both high and low-speed compression damping adjustment. The shock was rebuilt/serviced less than 1000 miles ago. The needle bearings and seals in the pivot areas have also been changed quite recently.
The work on the shock was performed by a friend of mine who owns and runs a suspension shop. Everything is top-notch and the finished product works extremely well. It is currently fitted with a slightly softer spring, making it ideal for anyone in the 150-180 lb range. Anyone heavier can simply re-mount the stock spring.

Here it is mounted up:

It is all ready to bolt up and requires nothing.
Asking $350 plus shipping.

Willing to look at reasonable offers.
Don't be put off by the fact that is uses the stock shock body, it is a night and day difference from a stock shock and works as well as all but the very best aftermarket units (albeit, it doesn't have a hydraulic preload adjuster like my "new" Ohlins.....)
