BTW - I'm in Charlotte too, if you get the urge to put some mountain miles on the bike to scrub in the new Pirelli's - look me up! I trailer to the mountains about every other weekend.

No downer dudes, I removed them myself. I've done it to just about all my bikes. I like the clean not busy look. It was only down once by the previous owner, tipped over at a gas station.
Just the turn signal and mirror got scuffed. The bike has all the original plastic.

Andy I'd like to take you up on that, I do most of my riding in the mountains. But I'm selling the bike because I'm getting out of motorbiking.
I'm 62 and between my motorbikes and bicycles I have had a lot of injuries in the past nine years.

The bike looks amazing! Did you have you have to trim the fairing for the renthal bars? Does it still retain full steering lock? Questions from another 60+ rider!

Yes I had to trim the fairing. It just barely had full lock, so I got some heavy hanging tape, cut little blocks out of it and stuck it on the frame where the lock on the triple clamp hits it. Worked great. If I had used bars that had a little less rearward sweep there wouldn't have been any problem.

Just one call, guy said he was actually looking for a RC51 but couldn't find one under 5K and was thinking of going back to a Superhawk.
