if your plan is to keep them both for street bikes only, then selling it makes sense - their functions are very overlapping. If you do track days, the SV would be a blast to convert to a dedicated track bike, or a great bike to start doing them on if that is an idea you've kicked around.

I'd say keep the SV cuz it's probably worth more to you than most folks would want to pay for it. You could easily find the aftermarket parts to do some mods to increase the HP/Torque and improve the suspension.

Thanks guys for all the responses. I've already spent tons o cash on the SV and I still like it. I've settled on it being my daily commuter and saving the Hawk for the weekend rides. Of course, I'll mix it up from time to time. May start doing trackdays eventually with it too.

garage space is usually easy to find, just get a battery tender on it
